PLUNGE DOWN JOHNSTON CANYON FALLS EARNS GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS LISTING
When extreme Kayaker Tao Berman paddled over 98 foot Upper Johnston Canyon Falls in August 1999,
the 20 year old from Ashland, Oregon set a new official world free-fall record eclipsing his own previous record

The trail drops right into the canyon where a metal catwalk has been fastened directly to the canyon wall to ease walking.
This amazing waterfall drops into a perfectly round plunge pool carved by the falls itself.
A short cave allows hikers to move in so close they will feel the spray of the falls on their face.”
Distance: 5.4 Kilometers Elevation Gain: 135 Meters

“Hike on steel walkways built into the canyon walls, giving a birds eye view of the gorge below. ”
